Welcome to W&L Law

Congratulations, and welcome to W&L Law's Class of 2027! We are excited to work with you in the weeks ahead to help you learn more about our law school community.  Please contact the Office of Admissions with any questions that you may have. W&L Law is offering both on campus and virtual visit options, and we will hold Open House events in Spring 2024. We look forward to getting to know you!

Open House

Open Houses 2024

We welcome you to experience campus through our Virtual and our In-Person Open Houses during the spring semester. Virtual Open House will take place on Thursday, February 8 and In-person Open Houses will take place on Saturday, March 9 and Saturday, April 6. You are welcome to attend both Virtual as well as an In-Person Open House, or you may elect to attend the event that works best for you!

Reimbursement is available to assist with travel to/from and lodging costs associated with attending In-Person Open House. More information about In-Person Open House can be found on our FAQ page. A tentative schedule for In-Person Open House is now available.

Accept Our Offer

First Year Students

To accept our offer of admission and secure your place in our Class of 2027, you must:

  • submit an initial non-refundable tuition deposit of $500 by 5:00 pm EST on April 15 and
  • submit an additional non-refundable tuition deposit of $500 by 5:00 pm EST on May 15

For students admitted after May 15, your entire deposit payment of $1,000 is due by 5:00 pm EST on the date given in your offer of admission.

Transfer Students

To accept our offer and secure your place, you must submit your deposit of $500 by 5:00 pm EST on the date indicated on your Applicant Status Online (ASO) Status Checker.

If you Decide to Withdraw

If you decide to withdraw from our class, we (and the students hoping for a seat!) would greatly appreciate it if you would let us know as soon as you make your decision. Please notify us by email to LawAdm@wlu.edu.

Deferred Enrollment

We consider requests to defer enrollment on an individual basis. Students wishing to defer enrollment should review our policy and email our office for a Request for Deferred Enrollment form. Students granted deferred enrollment must submit the tuition deposits detailed above.
