Gwen Thayer (Johnson) Handelman

Biography

Gwen Thayer (Johnson) Handelman graduated magnum cum laude from the University of Michigan School of Law after earning her undergraduate degree at the University. She clerked for the Hon. Patricia M. Wald of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and worked on Capitol Hill and in the private sector before beginning her teaching career at Washington and Lee School of Law. She is currently Scholar in Residence at the Sheperd Broad Law Center of Nova Southeastern University.
