Biography
Fletcher Otey Thomas Professor of Religion and founding Director of the Shepherd Program on Poverty and Human Capability, a University-wide interdisciplinary program. Currently also Program Director of the Shepherd Higher Education Poverty Consortium. Former President of the Society of Christian Ethics in 2000-01 and Acting President of Washington and Lee in 2005-06.
