David A. Wirth

Biography

David A. Wirth earned his A.B. from Princeton University, his A.M. from Harvard University, and his J.D. from Yale Law School. Following law school, he clerked for the Hon. William H. Timbers of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He has served as the senior attorney at the Natural Resources Defense Council and as an advisor to the legal advisor at the State Department. Besides Washington and Lee, Wirth has taught at Harvard University, M.I.T., Oxford, Vermont Law School, and the University of Virginia. He is currently on the faculty at Boston College Law.
