JLSA, a student organization at the Washington and Lee School of Law, is dedicated to providing a wide variety of religious, social, and cultural programming for the entire student body of the Law School. The group presents speakers, panel discussions, and films dealing with issues of interest to Jewish law students, as well as professional networking opportunities. We also sponsor social events within the law school and with other student organizations at Washington and Lee. We are a source of information on religious holidays and services, community and regional events. Students in the organization have the opportunity to participate in regional and national Jewish law student conferences and events.
We participate and parnter in many of the activities of the W&L chapter of the Hillel Foundation, an international Jewish campus organization which sponsors a variety of Jewish campus activities, including lectures and classes in Jewish thought, social gatherings, religious services, and social service projects.
