Guide to International Refugee Law Resources on the Web

Elisa Mason, who has worked with the UN High Commission for Refugees and the Forced Migration Online project at Oxford, has published an article on LLRX.com titled Guide to International Refugee Law Sources on the Web. The article contains many links to documents from various bodies concerning both immigration and forced migration. The article can be accessed at Refugee Law.

NPR Media File

NPR has created a website of news stories and analysis about the media industry. Some of the topics include advertising, online journalism and blogging, embedded journalists, transactions (such as sales of newspapers) and controversies. The site can be accessed at NPR Media .

HVAC System in Lewis Hall

The HVAC system on levels 1,2,& 3 of the library portion of Lewis Hall will be replaced this summer. The air conditioning will be shut down from Monday May 14, 2007 until about August 1, 2007. The Powell Suite and Archives are not included in this replacement. Some offices in the affected areas will be moved for the summer.

Staff Publication

Associate Law Librarian John Doyle has a short article titled Law Journal Acquisitions on a Budget and the Problem with Expansive Projects in the May 2007 issue of AALL Spectrum.
