First-year courses may not be dropped. Second- or third-year courses other than practicum courses may be dropped or added at the option of the student (subject to announced limitations on class size and other limitations announced by the instructor) during the first five days of the semester. Thereafter courses may be dropped or added only with the consent of the instructor. Under no circumstances may a course be added after the tenth day of class of the semester or dropped after the first regularly scheduled time for taking the final examination in that course.
Fall 2012
••August 27, 2012 through August 31, 2012 - Open drop/add period Students may drop/add using WebAdvisor at that time. No signatures required.
••September 3, 2012 through September 7, 2012 – During this period students may drop/add by submitting a drop/add form to the Law Records Office during office hours (M-F, 8:30 am-4:30 pm). Signature of the instructor is required.
••Final deadline for adding courses – September 7, 2012
Under no circumstances may a course be added after the tenth class day of the semester. Adding a course after this date requires a waiver of this regulation. Signature of the instructor is required.
