USE DOCUMENT INSPECTOR TO REMOVE METADATA

IN A WORD 2010 DOCUMENT

1] Open the document.

2] Select the FILE tab, then INFO from the left sidebar.

3] Under the Prepare for Sharing option, choose Inspect Document

4] In the Document Inspector dialog box (below), select the check boxes to choose the types of hidden content that you want to be inspected, and then click the Inspect button.
