Hobbies and Interests
The 151 students of the Class of 2024 have a wide variety of background and interests. Eight are members of Phi Beta Kappa, and five are members of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK). Three have military service experience while others will serve in the military after graduation. Many of the members of the Class of 2024 are musicians or singers. Nine students are Eagle Scouts. Seven students already hold graduate degrees prior to enrollment in law school. Students competed at the collegiate level in many sports, including baseball, cross country, football, lacrosse, rowing, soccer, swimming, tennis and track and field.

45% of the incoming students either completed a legal internship or have other law-related work experience, and 24% have experience with a political campaign. Others studied or worked abroad; consistent with this international orientation, members of the Class of 2024 are proficient in a variety of languages including Ancient Greek, Arabic, Chichewa, Chinese, Dutch, Farsi, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Thai, and Ukrainian.  Among their other skills, interests and life experiences are Jiu Jitsu, running a sewing company on Etsy, first degree black belt in Taekwondo, Army ROTC, back-up singer for Josh Groban, baking, acrylic painting, chess, yoga, fencing, Marine officer candidate, ultimate frisbee, figure skating, camping, golf, hiking, writing a novel, board games, skeet shooting, CPA, and university radio station disc jockey.
