Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project
Washington and Lee University School of Law participates in the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project. Washington and Lee students enroll in a weekly seminar course exploring constitutional law and educating high school students about the Constitution and the role of citizenship. The Project was developed by American University, and is designed for students to develop critical thinking skills, advance their rhetorical skills, and refine their persuasive powers.
Washington and Lee students teach at high schools in Roanoke, Virginia and work with those students to prepare for a regional moot court competition in the Spring.
