Visiting W&L Law

In light of rapidly changing circumstances in Virginia and in the U.S., Washington and Lee University will suspend in-person classes immediately, and transition to virtual instruction for both our undergraduate divisions and the School of Law for the remainder of the current term. All university facilities will be closed to the public and all campus events and visits are canceled, including individual visits.

Complete information about the University's response to COVID-18 can be found online.

We invite you to schedule an individual campus visit. Visiting is easily the best way to experience just what makes W&L Law distinctive.

During the school year, you may select either our morning or our afternoon visit schedule.  Each option offers a class observation, meeting with an admissions representative, and law school tour with a current student.

Visits for the spring 2020 semester will begin on January 6 and end on April 13, the last day of 1L classes.

There are some dates when a visit cannot be scheduled, due to class cancellations or other conflicts. Those dates for spring 2020 are January 20 and February 24-28.
