Dean's Council

The Dean's Council recognizes those individuals whose total giving to the Law School for a fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) is $2,500 or more.

You can designate your gift to the Law Annual Fund, specific funds such as the Steinheimer Professorship, one of the School's named scholarship funds, Lewis Hall renovations, or any combination of LAF and other specific funds.

W&L Law recognizes individuals who make gifts of $1,000 or more through the following societies:

$1,000-$2,499 – Faculty Associate

$2,500-$4,999 – Dean’s Council

$5,000-$9,999 – Lewis Powell Circle

$10,000-$24,999 – Sydney Lewis Society

$25,000 and up – Tucker Hall Barrister

All commitments are counted toward the Law School’s goal of $35M as a part of the Honor Our Past, Build Our Future campaign. You can make your gift online at law.wlu.edu/waystogive.

Members of the Dean's Council ($2,500 or more) have the following privileges:

- Invitations to special events on campus
- Personal communication from Dean Nora Demleitner
- Recognition in our fall Honor Roll of Donors and on electronic panels in Lewis Hall
