Eligibility: Victims of Domestic Violence, who are at or below 200% of the federal poverty line, but who do not qualify for Legal Aid and do not have funds (or access to funds) to be able to pay for local private representation. In most instances the client must be a resident of Rockbridge Co., Lexington, or Buena Vista.
Limitations: CLPC will not serve as Guardian ad litem for child custody/abuse cases. CLPC will not accept fee-generating cases, such as products-liability cases or personal injury cases.
