Obtaining Services

Reservations for media services should be placed with the Media Center: by email (lawmedia@wlu.edu), in person, or by phone (540-458-5870).   Media Services requiring an operator or set-up of equipment normally will be available during regular hours only.  The requester is responsible for reserving the room or location where the event will be held.

Lawmedia is able to record in several formats. When you make a recording request tell us if you want a DVD and/or if you want this recording in a format for viewing online. If the recording is to be available to the public or in the Library, a Copyright Release may need to be obtained. 

Unless you've advised otherwise, we will record a digital wmv 320x240 video covershot of the room with standard audio pickup. and place the recording in a restricted to the law school community location.

Finally, unless you let us know in a timely manner if additional media support is required, we may not be able to accommodate those needs, or the support will be less than satisfactory to all of us.
