DODGEBALL
Sunday, February 10th at 1pm (Pavilion)
WLSO and the Sports Czars are co-sponsoring a dodgeball tournament!


SPEAKER: ERIN ASHWELL
Wednesday, February 13th at 3pm (Classroom B)

WLSO and OCP are co-sponsoring a career advice/Q&A session with Roanoke attorney Erin Ashwell from the firm Woods Rogers. She will speak about her career path as well as to balancing a work and family life.

Due Friday, Feb. 22nd at midnight

“MAKERS: Women who make America” Movie Viewing
Tuesday, February 26th, 8pm (Classroom B)

Makers showcases compelling stories from women throughout history, presenting where we have come and where we are going, how women changed America...and what that means for you!

WLSO is sponsoring the American Association of University Women’s ElectHer program to help prepare undergraduate women to run for leadership positions in student government and in the world after school.

AFRICAN WOMEN SPEAKERS
Monday, March 4th from 3:30 - 6:30pm (Moot Court)

BLSA, ILS and WLSO are hosting women from Georgetown's Leadership and Advocacy for Women in Africa Fellowship Program. The panelists are part of a larger group of women who obtained LLMs in international rights and took what they learned back to their communities in Africa to advocate for the rights of women and children. The panelists will give a background on the issues facing their countries, their current work, and what they plan to do when returning to their countries.

A reception will follow their presentations from 5-6 pm outside of the Moot Court Room.  


BRA DRIVE
WLSO is sponsoring our annual bra drive where you can donate your gently used bras to those in need.
