Law Class of 2025 Employment Summary

The Class of 2025 from Washington and Lee University School of Law shows another year of strong performance in employment. The Office of Career Strategy reports that nearly 93 percent of the class of 2025 secured a job that either requires bar passage or for which a J.D. degree is an advantage. The overall employment rate, which for the class including all professional employment types and students in graduate school is 94.5 percent.

Law Firms

Each year a large portion of our graduating class finds employment at law firms of varying sizes, where over 64 percent of the Class of 2025 are employed in law firms with 250 attorneys or more. The remainder of the class is split between government, business, higher education, and public interest.
