Christelle Molima Bameka Visiting 2021-23

Together with the Center for International Education, the law school is hosting Dr. Christelle Molima Bameka for a two-year post-doc study. She is a scholar in the area of child soldiers and international criminal and human rights law and will pursue a research project on the penal responsibility of child soldiers for atrocity crimes with a focus on the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). 

Dr. Bameka holds a degree in Law from the Catholic University of Bukavu, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and two master's degree from the Université Lumière Lyon 2 and the Université Pierre-Mendès France de Grenoble, France. She recently defended her doctoral dissertation at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, on the criminal responsibility of child soldiers in the context of their social and community reintegration in the eastern DRC.
