WILF Program Working in Law Full-Time

Students selected for the Working in Law Full-Time (WILF) Semester Externship will work with Professor Gould to find and apply to full-time legal placements (law offices, public interest, or public service organizations and/or agencies or judicial chambers) that meet the goals and interests of the extern.

Placements may be in any jurisdiction. It is expected that most students will be working outside of the Lexington area. The course includes possible externship placements with the Delaware Court of Chancery. Law students may work full-time in externship placements throughout the country (and occasionally in foreign countries).

Students interested in the WILF program must apply in the spring of their second year to participate in the extended credit 3L Fall externship). Students must complete 425 hours of placement related work.
