About
Bud Schill is Counsel with McGuireWoods in Richmond, Virginia. He formerly led both the firm's litigation practice and education practice team. He has appeared in the courts of more than a dozen states.
Schill has tried numerous cases in the areas of securities, antitrust, contract disputes, commercial torts, fiduciary duty, tenure, academic freedom, student conduct, trademarks, trade dress, trade secrets, defamation, fraud, athletics, campus police issues, public finance, tax, health and commercial insurance coverage, Medicaid, university accreditation, art and museum law, construction, employment, asylum, spoliation of evidence and other types of disputes. He teaches higher education law at the Washington and Lee University School of Law.
