About

Hector DeJesus is an accomplished entertainment lawyer and industry executive based in New York City. A 2016 graduate of Washington and Lee University School of Law, he currently serves as Adjunct Faculty, teaching the Entertainment Law Practicum.

As Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for The Zamora Group, a multinational conglomerate with interests in entertainment, hospitality, investments, and sports, Mr. DeJesus oversees legal affairs for a diverse portfolio. This includes leading Latin touring promotions companies, renowned club/restaurant venues, sports entertainment entities, and international development investors.

Prior to his current role, Mr. DeJesus founded DeJesus Law PLLC, representing a distinguished clientele of international artists, producers, social media influencers, and entertainment entrepreneurs across various sectors. He also served as CEO and President of DonStatus Entertainment Inc., where he successfully negotiated agreements for recording artists and performers in areas such as publishing, social media, digital media, licensing, and promotions.

In addition to his expertise in entertainment and sports law, Mr. DeJesus has a strong background in privacy law. He has made contributions to the field, notably through his work on influential privacy papers and impactful academic research.

A licensed member of the New York and District of Columbia bars, Mr. DeJesus's legal career began with impactful experiences at leading institutions. He served as a Legal Fellow with the Future of Privacy Forum in Washington, D.C., and as a Law Clerk with both Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and MetLife in New York City.
