About

Michael Gaches teaches in the Skills Immersion - Litigation experiential program at the Washington and Lee University School of Law. He is an experienced attorney, currently serving as Deputy Chief Counsel for Litigation for the Transportation Security Administration, within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Gaches has held numerous senior and supervisory attorney roles within the Transportation Security Administration. He also served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Gaches is a member of the Maryland Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
