About

Thomas DiBiagio is Managing Director of MB Risk Management LLC, based in Cockeysville, Maryland. He currently teaches Federal White-Collar Crime at the Washington and Lee University School of Law as a member of the adjunct faculty.

DiBiagio was previously a partner with Baker Botts LLP in Washington, D.C., specializing in independent internal investigations and compliance risk assessments for Global Corporations in the area of anti-competition, bribery, corporate and financial fraud, international trade and other areas involving potential criminal liability. He was also a partner with McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP, where he conducted internal investigations and practiced civil litigation.

DiBiagio served from 2001 to 2004 as the United States Attorney for the District of Maryland, and from 1991 to 1999 as an Assistant United States Attorney in Baltimore. His government service saw him oversee the investigation and prosecution of major federal crimes, including public corruption, terrorism, corporate financial fraud, bank fraud, wire and mail fraud, money laundering, kidnapping, carjacking, extortion, narcotics conspiracies, murder for hire, bank robbery and racketeering.
