About
Professor Meade joined Washington and Lee University School of Law as a Professor of Practice in 2022. She teaches legal writing.
Prior to joining W&L Law, Professor Meade worked as an associate attorney at Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C. and as in-house counsel for a large government contracting firm in Arlington, Virginia. Her practice primarily focused on cybersecurity and data privacy, but also included SAFETY Act work, government contracting issues, and various pro bono matters.
Professor Meade also served as an Adjunct Professor at American University Washington College of Law where she taught Legal Rhetoric. She was named Legal Rhetoric Adjunct Professor of the Year for the 2021-2022 academic year, an award based on student nominations and evaluations.
