Hawai'i Summer Law Program
If you have completed at least one year of study at an ABA-accredited law school, the Hawaiʻi Summer Law Program offers:
- An excellent selection of courses, including bar exam subjects, taught by world-class faculty.
- Evening classes for students who are working or doing internships during the day.
- The chance to network with students from other law schools across the U.S.
- The amazing beauty and rich cultural diversity of the Hawaiian Islands.

SUMMER PROGRAM APPLICATION
Interested students must fill out the online Hawai‘i Summer Law Program Application [docs.google.com].
2024 Application: There is no application fee; the deadline to apply is May 1. Applications received after this date will be considered on a space-available basis.
If you are not a UH Law student, please send us a Letter of Good Standing from your academic dean stating that you are in good academic standing and eligible to continue in your law school. Please also send us your social security number and date of birth by phone or mail, but not by email.
We will notify you about your admission to the program and provide information on how to register online for courses. Course registration will begin in early March. Please note that some courses have different start and end dates.
SUMMER PROGRAM TUITION
Tuition for Summer 2024 is $933 per credit for Hawaii residents and non-residents. Calculate your total tuition by multiplying this amount by the total number of credits.
Payment for registration between March 5, 2024 and April 26, 2024 is due on April 26, 2024. Payment for registration between April 26, 2024 and June 7, 2024 is due on June 7, 2024. Payment for any registration after June 7, 2024 is due at the time of registration.
