Registration for law students

Registration is the initial process of signing up for courses each term. Consistent with W&L's principle that students bear responsibility for their academic choices and progress, each student selects sections to register into each term. You create a planned schedule in Student Planning, then when your window opens, you determine which section is moved to register into or move to waitlist status. The system checks for open seats and for appropriate qualifications, including prerequisites, time conflicts, holds, etc.

Student Planning is a registration module in Self-Service that allows students to plan future terms, review their progress toward meeting graduation requirements, and register for classes.  It is an important tool for planning an academic schedule.  Go to Self-Service Student Planning at http://go.wlu.edu/selfservice.

Drop/add is the process of adjusting your class schedule during the first week of each term. All degree-seeking students are required to be registered for a full-time load for each term (see Law Catalog 2020-2021 for residence requirements).

The University Registrar has posted several sites referencing registration geared towards undergraduate students.  The basics apply to law students as well.   You may, however, find it helpful.
