VTLF Scholarship Program

The Virginia Trial Lawyers Foundation (VTLF) Scholarship Program

VTLA, through our Foundation, supports law students dedicated to a career in trial practice in the Commonwealth, and preserving and improving the fairness of Virginia's justice system.
We are looking for zealous advocates, eager to learn how to champion a fair and equitable justice system, protect people, hold wrongdoers accountable, and fiercely preserve judicial independence. Our members practice in a wide variety of areas, including personal injury, family law, criminal law, workers' compensation and civil rights.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS
The VTLF Scholarship is a $5,000 award and possible summer internship placement.
If the award recipient is interested, the VTLF Board will make an effort to secure an interview for a summer placement with a VTLA-member law firm for an opportunity to work as a summer associate with experienced trial attorneys.

Up to two scholarships from Virginia law schools may be awarded. Placements are not guaranteed.
